Terms of Service

Pack Goblin (packgoblin.com) is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a small business based in California, USA. These Terms are the agreement between you and us when you browse the site, use the free tools, or buy cards from the store. We've kept them short and in plain English — please actually read them.

1. Accepting these Terms

By using Pack Goblin you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. You must be at least 13 to use Pack Goblin. To make a purchase, you need to be able to enter a contract — generally 18 or older, or shopping with a parent or guardian involved. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

2. What Pack Goblin is

Two things:

  • A card store. We sell Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon TCG singles. Checkout and payment are handled entirely by Shopify; we never receive or store your card number.
  • Free tools. A card database, price browsing, and (rolling out) deck building, collection tracking, and wishlists. The tools are free and don't require a purchase.

3. Accounts

Accounts are optional. Sign-in is by email magic link — no passwords. Keep your email inbox secure; anyone with access to it can sign in as you, and you're responsible for activity on your account. You can deactivate your account (recoverable for 30 days) or request permanent deletion of your personal data — see our Privacy Policy for both flows.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • scrape, bulk-download, or hammer the site with automated requests;
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the service or other users;
  • provide false information when ordering — accurate name and shipping address, please;
  • use the service to break the law.

We may rate-limit, block, or close accounts that abuse the service.

5. Purchases

  • US only. We ship within the United States only. Shipping rates are calculated and shown at Shopify checkout.
  • Packaging. Singles ship sleeved, in a toploader, team-bagged.
  • Condition grades. Singles are graded NM / LP / MP / HP / DMG per industry convention. Questions about a specific card's condition? Email support@packgoblin.com and we'll send photos before you buy.
  • Pricing errors. Goblins occasionally fat-finger a price. If a listed price is clearly wrong, we may cancel and refund the order before it ships rather than honor the error. We'll tell you if that happens.
  • Title and risk. Ownership of the cards, and risk of loss, pass to you on delivery.
  • Returns. Condition or authenticity claims: contact us within 7 days of delivery for a return and refund. Changed your mind? Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery in original (unopened sleeve and toploader) state; buyer pays return shipping. Refunds go to your original payment method via Shopify. 6. Market prices are information, not offers

Market prices shown across the site are informational data from third-party sources (TCGplayer and others), refreshed roughly daily. They are not an offer to sell at that price and may lag the real market. The only price that matters for a purchase is the one shown at checkout.

7. Affiliate links

Some outbound links — to TCGplayer, eBay, Card Kingdom, and Mana Pool — may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Full details are on our disclosures page.

8. Your content

Your decks, collections, and wishlists are yours. By saving them on Pack Goblin, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you — and to others only if you explicitly make it public — so the features can work. Delete your content and the license ends; deleted content is recoverable for 30 days, then permanently erased.

9. Card IP belongs to its owners

Pack Goblin is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. Not approved or endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC. Pokémon names and images are © Nintendo / Creatures Inc. / GAME FREAK inc. / The Pokémon Company; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Card data is provided in part courtesy of Scryfall, which is not affiliated with Pack Goblin.

10. Termination

You can stop using Pack Goblin at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with a warning where reasonable. Sections that should naturally survive — completed purchases, liability limits, governing law — keep applying.

11. Disclaimers and limits on liability

Plain English: the free tools are provided "as is." We work hard to keep data accurate, but card data, prices, and legality information can contain errors, and the tools may occasionally be down. Don't make financial decisions on our price data alone.

For any claim arising out of these Terms or the service, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you haven't paid us anything), and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that the law says can't be limited — including our own fraud or willful misconduct, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. If something goes wrong, email support@packgoblin.com first — we'll make a genuine attempt to sort it out informally before anyone files anything. Disputes we can't resolve belong in the courts located in California.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; continuing to use Pack Goblin after a change means you accept it.
